Boston, MA — FanReach, a leading provider of mobile fan engagement platforms for professional sports organizations, today announced the appointment of Roy Espinosa as Senior Director, Software Quality Assurance.
With more than two decades of experience in software quality leadership, Roy brings a proven record of establishing foundational QA departments for high-growth mobile startups and driving advanced UI automation initiatives within Fortune 500 digital enterprises. His appointment marks a significant step in FanReach’s continued investment in product excellence and innovation across its mobile platform.
Prior to joining FanReach, Roy served as QA Manager at GreenPark Sports, where he built the company’s QA organization from the ground up and introduced a Shift Left methodology that reduced product release cycles through deeper cross-functional integration. Before that, he was a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer at FOX Sports Digital, where he spearheaded the initial UI automation framework for FOXSports.com and led quality initiatives across multiple high-traffic consumer platforms.
Roy holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
At FanReach, Roy will lead the company’s global QA function with a focus on three strategic pillars:
- AI & Test Automation Strategy – Defining and executing an integrated automation roadmap that leverages AI and machine learning to expand test coverage and improve predictive quality modeling.
- Cross-Functional Quality Ownership – Fostering a Shift Left mindset across Engineering, Product, and Design teams to embed quality early and often in the development lifecycle.
- Data-Informed Risk Mitigation – Utilizing OKRs, KPIs, and analytics to ensure release decisions are data-driven and align with FanReach’s high standards for reliability and performance.
